Soundtrack Question

I've looked at the soundtrack listing and I've scanned this board, but I can't find anything related to what I would like to know.

Which song was the old record that her mother plays. Also in the end credits. I love that song.

If anyone could help that would be brilliant. Thanks.

It is #1 on the soundtrack (Rose, Rose, I Love You - Lee Yao) but it is sung in Chinese "Mei gui mei gui wo ai ni" It is a popular old-time Chinese song.

LOL

I just got finished watching the Pillow Book and that very song you're talking about was just so catchy. I really want to get a copy of it. And put it on my ipod. And jog to it.

I actually came here to find that song too. I found some CDs by Lee Yao on eBay. Can somebody tell me the legitamcy of these and if they seem official? A track list would be nice too if these are, in fact, official CDs.

I too, came here to find this very song. I find it catchy and innocent with a melancholy undertone. Beautiful soundtrack altogether and the film is visually stunning, I thoroughly enjoyed it....I am watching it now for the 3rd time :o)
