Best bit of acting by Ewan...

I think some of Ewan's best and most moving bit of acting was in this movie--and he wasn't even seen in the scene (pardon the pun)! You guessed it. When he was banging on Nagiko's door and screaming and calling out to her. That really moved me. I had to watch it twice. It makes me wonder if he felt more free to let it all out because he was "hidden" behind the door. That was a mighty tasty scene emotion-wise. good work, Ewan.

I totally agree, this scene was fantastic. Come to think of it, I'll play it again. I didn't want to pause the movie, but now seems a good time.. :)

i didnt think ewan was knocking at the door... that makes a big difference. i thought it was her chinese stalker dude. i must watch it again then :)

His whole performance was amazing, esp. the death scene which was harrowing.
