A favorite unknown flick!!

Caught this about a year ago on regular broadcast TV, channel 50, MY Network and fell in love with it. They show it every few months and I watch every time. I have to find it on anything, VHS or DVD so I can watch whenever I want, I haven't looked into it yet so not sure if it is hard to find. I love Josh Charles, especially back in those days, he always played a loveable guy. He still shines in his acting and I love that he is on The Good Wife now...seeing him regularly is great. Anne Heche is fabulous as always, I love her acting ability. I always wish I could meet my "Charlie", a guy with a passion in life that drives him to be so happy in life!

2 1/2 years later, but better late than never, right?

This is one of my all-time favorite films, too! Unfortunately, I haven't seen it on tv in many years. I always look out for it and also have it set for my DVR to record it if it ever shows on tv again. <sigh>
Josh Charles looked so handsome in this movie. I was waiting outside a restaurant about 10 years ago in LA, and there he was, too, waiting for a table outside! As I've encountered many celebrities before, I don't bother them unless they start talking to me first. The exception being Renee Zellweger, who was a sweetheart. Josh sure looked great when I saw him. He still looks great now!

What's funny about it is it doesn't seem like I wrote this post 2 1/2 years ago!! I can remember clear as day the night I watched it and posted about it! How awesome it was for you to see him - always wish I lived in LA, that is one of the many reasons why! Although living in Chicago does lead to some celeb sitings, I met Rob Lowe at Lincoln Park Zoo, Woody Harrelson making Natural Born Killers and Tom Cruise and Paul Newman making The Color of Money and once in NY, Stanley Tucci in a parking garage!! Sounds like you see them often - I'd say that's pretty neat :-)

I did the first time I lived in LA. This last stretch I saw pretty much no one. And I moved a 1 1/2 years ago out of there, so my chances are none to slim now. It sounds like you did pretty good on meeting some cool celebs!

I'll go to a message board here, read a post, agree with it, then find I wrote it like 5 years ago! LOL
I'm glad you remember your post. I hardly ever remember mine.

That is hilarious that you will go to reply to a post and find out it is yours! I can actually see that happening after so long - this specific one happened to be fresh in my head I guess because it is such a favorite movie of mine. I did receive an email once telling me I had a reply to a post I made a while back and I had no clue what it could have been when I saw the board name...once I read it I remembered but had no clue otherwise. I'm sure it depends on how often one posts also :-)

I lived in California many years ago (early 70's), I was very young, I attended 2nd and 3rd grade there. I lived in South San Francisco/Daly City for those 2 years. I have family in Carpenteria, Santa Barbara, Ventura and a few other spots. Haven't been back to visit in many years though......I do miss it. I've lived in Chicago the rest of the time (prior to moving to CA and then back to Chicago after those 2 years) and I guess I'm a "Windy City Gal"!!

Josh Charles looked so handsome in this movie.

Agreed. I loved the boyish charm he exuded in the 90s.

I just ordered a DVD of it off Anazon for 6 dollars.
