Mitsubishi + Jackie Chan

So what is it with Jackie Chan and Mitsubishi Motors, they have a contract or something? In all movies where there are cars Jackie is always driving a Mitsubishi, or the emblem comes in screen several times.
Wasnt surprised in a racing movie he would drive, of course, a Mitsubishi.

I think i read something a couple of years go about this, but i'm not sure if it's true.
But it said that he endorsed them
