Drume Negrita- written by Ernesto Grenet, sung by Celia Cruz (some parts you can hear only the instrumental version, but when sung (as when Marisa Tomei comes from her date) you can hear Celia Cruz sing. She was the greatest Cuban singer ever, and because she exiled herself she was not permited to get back to Cuba when her mom was sick and passed away. She plays the part of the "abuelita", the "fortune-telling" older lady that he talks to closer to the beginning.
The song is a lullaby, drume is a derivation of "duerme" (sleep little black girl), and one of the best versions is sung by "Bola de nieve". I looked it up for you and found an interesting compilation where there is more than one version of it! here it is! I hope this was useful!

You see, I HATE not knowing what a song is, and I am still after one in "Assassination tango" that I couldn't find although I posted my question around... so I am really happy to have been able to help you today! And I hope this is the one you were thinking of!
Good Luck and let me know!
