The ending

I discovered this movie by accident but it was screened too late that I missed the ending. I live in the Netherlands and I don't think they will ever re-screen this movie again so can someone tell me the rest of the movie? I watched it up until Callie & Darkly visit the cave and I'm dying to know coz it's a real good movie & despite all the flaws, it had gorgeous cinematography to make up for it. Did they really film it in the Rocky Mountains?

If you want to tell me the ending but don't want to spoil it for everyone else, please mail me at [email protected]. Thanks!!!

Geee, thanks for the detailed plot ending. Maybe I didn't watch the whole thing so I can't really judge the quality of the movie. The circus bit does sound a bit weird but it's not really a commercialised movies so maybe it's permissible then.

I watched this movie all the way through hoping that it would develop a plot of some sort. It culminated into a comical finale of the elephant and circus menagerie strolling out of the woods to present Ashley Judd with a glittery converse high top tennis shoe as if she were being presented the crown for Miss America. I wish I could burn this freakish waste of film from my mind's eye.

I just watched this film for the first time and didn't like it at first (early Brendan Fraser acting is pretty wooden). However, it got me hooked when the silver shoe first drifts by on the river - I just love films that have unpredictable and almost mystical moments like that! That is why I also like the ending. Even though I had come up with my own plausible reason for the giant shoe floating down the river I thought it was nice that the writer/director came up with the tie-in explanation at the end. I kind of liked the arrival of the circus people at the end - quirky and uplifting.
