People need to quit saying "it." That is so offensive.
It was very obvious that the character was a very flamboyant man - possibly bordering on drag - but nonetheless a man.
Now, I do not know his pronoun preference, but it is much less offensive to call him a he or a she instead of an it. He's not a desk!
If you are that easily confused about gender, this is an odd movie for you to be watching.
