Movie reminds me of the game Quake 2

This movie was on HBO late one night back in the mid to late 1990's and the whole time I was watching it, for whatever reason, the scenes, scenery, sets, and back drops really reminded me of Quake 2 for some reason.

Anyone else notice that correlation between this movie and the game?
