1998 'stepmom' ripped off this movie

Yeah that's what I thought too.

Its like a more sentimental version of Stepmom. Lots of movies borrow ideas from each other. But there were a lot of similarities.
The parents were both good people there wasnt really the bad dad or bad mom. But both mom's were tough and opinionated
"The Other Women" were both younger with red hair. Julia Roberts was a photographer and Carolyn a model/commercial actress

This one was sadder to me tho. Especially with the grandfather. It was sad seeing him at the end.

My own mom passed away shortly before "Stepmom" was released on video. My friends thought it would bother me to see it but it didn't really. The movie still kinda left u with a happy feeling at the end watching everyone celebrate.

In this movie the mom passes away its not implied it happens eventually. The grandfathers reaction really got to me. This movie just made me feel sad. but I enjoyed it. Maybe I should not have seen it before bed.
