Help With An Assignment

I have an Assignment due in two days, Friday, on Othello in which I have to write a 500 word feature article, for a women's magazine, on the topic of sexism in the movie.

Can anyone help me out, a.s.ap. replies would be great, thanx for helpin me at the last minute.

I guess people weren't in a helping mood.

Your powers of deduction are exemplary.

reply

Your proficiency in analytical writing is exemplary. It's only 500 words. Did you really need help writing that?

reply

Those who don't ask, don't receive. That was over a year ago - and i just couldnt think of anything to write.

Anyway...lol.

yea othellos on my english exam and im renting the 1995 version, and thoughts? should i watch a diff version?

reply

Dude,
I can't even remember what happened in Othello anymore, the original post was almost 2 years ago!

I've finished Year 11...and Year 12 for that matter...I'm almost in UNI, lol.

Sorry I cant help, good luck.

The 1995 version is good, im doing an essay on iago for my a levels and Branaghs performance is great.

reply

This adaptation of Othello is the best one and will keep you entertained. The actor who played Iago did exceptionally well. If you need any help just ask.

reply

This version of Othello is incredibly poor and messes about with the text unnecessarily if you ask me.

reply

Isaiah 6:9

Out of interest, were you being homophobic or did you have other reasons for that reference? Not flaming, just asking.

reply

500 words is peanuts. If you were in year eleven and couldn't write on such a simple subject, how are you now in university?

reply

More than I needed help on this "simple subject" I wanted some entertainment while I procrastinated

And since you asked I am sitting on High Distinction's for my first semester of classes (BIOL 1040, PSYC1010, STAT2030 & INFO1010), actually.

In the future - if you dont plan on writing anything constructive - keep your poorly constructed and condescending comments (*see reti_incarnate's recent posts) to yourself.

reply

That should be "High Distinctions", without the apostrophe after the "n". In fact, take that punctuation mark and add it after the "n" on "dont". Is that "condescending" enough for you yet? No? Well, as marvellously impressed as I am at your completion of a STATISTICS (WOW!!!) course, and a PSYCH COURSE (WOOOW!!!), and even A BIOLOGY COURSE(WOOOOOW!!!!), I'm not sure if you're even worthy of my condescension.

reply

Are you done yet?

reply

I noticed that you put "High Distinctions", the comma goes inside fo the "" like this "High Distinctions,"...Leave the kid alone you jerk.

If the world didn't suck, we'd fall off.

reply

um, there's no set rule for where the comma goes. there are just different sets of conventions, and that's simply the one you use

reply

This thread is highly amusing.

Good film all-round. Both Fishburne and Branagh deliver great performances which contrast each other well.
