Cruelty to animals

Elephants are far too intelligent & sensitive to be used in movies & circuses or to be forced to perform.

Movies that exploit animals should be boycotted and banned.

This movie bombed when it came out. So for what reason were elephants beaten and tortured with bullhooks so the Disney Company could make a few dollars? That's the only way to force animals as huge as elephants to work in movies. They don't willingly perform stupid tricks or repeats them for "take five" if something goes wrong the first few takes.

A lose-lose situation for all involved.

No animals were hurt making it dumbo. A lot of the elephants were replicas

They had 6 fake elephants, I think 3 were animatronic and 3 were static. They were so real that the real elephants were fooled by them.

Yeah. The greatest cruelty here was to the audiences, who were subjected to even more Dennis Leary, long after he'd been exposed as the most egregious joke thief in comedy history, pre-Amy Schumer
