What is the ending of this flick?

I somehow managed to record this a while back , but only got the shower scenes with A Martinez (NOT a bad thing at all!) and the scene with the MIL's stitches falling apart. But I would like to know the rest of the story, as it doest' seem to be available anywhere.

And what was up with the operation to begin with? How does plastic surgery make you feel better about your daughter dying?

What was Eros and a goddess doing in this (from the cast list)?

I do have to say that I disagree with with review on the site--from what I have seen of A Martinez, he is a very good actor and is very expressive. He just doesn't overact.
