Fantastic!

Kind of surprised this film dosen't have a lot of posts---I saw it in the theater when it came out. and liked it. It's a good, nice family films worth showing to kids, and a good way to educate them about the history of racism in the south in a good way. There's more detail on the film and why it didn't really take off in director Tim Reid's biography TIM & TOM:AN AMERICAN COMEDY IN BLACK AND WHITE (a really good book,with some funny parts that had me LOL,BTW)---I think I remember it getting some good reviews when it came out.
