Who sang the englsih versionof the video?

I remember seeing this in 1996 and it was called castles in the air. However i can ntoremember for the life of me whjo sang it.

"Castles in the Air" uses the same melody but has different lyrics. The song is included on several of Chage & Aska's CDs and is an audio option on the Studio Ghibli Shorts DVD."

So in answer to your original question, Chage and Aska also sing the english version of the song.

Does anyone know where you can listen to the English version aside from the Enlgish version for "Whisper of the Heart"? I can't find it anywhere and would like to compare it to the Japanese version.

there was an english version sung, i know what you mean they showed it on "the box" quite alot, this version was not sung by chage and aska, it was sung by another group, for the life of me i cannot find a trace of it anywhere and i have been looking for years, even getting hold of all chage and aska cds to find info with no luck, so if anoyone else can shine light on this it wouyld be great

YES! YES !!!! YES!!!! YES!!!! You sir speak the *beep* truth. It was on the box a lot and remember wagtching it around 1995/6 and i thought it was so much better than the original japanese one. However i still have yet to find it too.

im getting closer, well i hope, i came across this, im trying to source the dvd without being a major cost, the dvd is called

Ghibli ga Ippai Special Short Short

its apparently got a english version of the song, find on this page
