This is just a general poll on movies made by the same company that made "On Your Mark," Studio Ghibli. I'm putting it here because people who have seen "On Your Mark" are likely to have seen other Ghibli movies.

You forgot Panda Kopanda!!!

im really not sure which of all is my favorite..
but i love mononoke, howl, pandakopanda, kiki..
but also the cat returns and spirited away and on you mark and totoro..
i dont want to pick a favorite.. i love it all!

Really hard to choose as all of Studio Ghibli's movies are amazing. I have recently seen Whisper of the Heart which was a very amazing movie I should have seen it sooner but was turned off by romance stuff and boy was I wrong. Nausicaa of the Valley of the wing is one of my favorites as I love the art work done in it. Princess Mononoke was what got me interested in anime as it is such an amazing film. Now I have seen almost all of Studio Ghibli's work with only the cat returns , ocean waves, only yesterday and the Castle of Cagliostro. I must say I'm really looking forward to watching them.

Ocean Waves and Only Yesterday are only in Japanese, if you didn't already know, so if you watch them you don't mind reading subtitles.

I love On Your Mark. It's able to tell a well done story, show different emotions and all that without voices in just a less than 7 minute window.

Truly one of his best.

It was easier to pick than I thought. Totoro comes very close to those three, though. But for me to put those three in order of superiority is impossible.

Those three are my favorites too but I have to say I also liked a LOT nausica and castle in the sky. Neighbour Totoro and Howl's castle were also great but perhaps more "mainstream" movies or should I say family movies? Anywayz great for younger audience imo.

For me, Miyazaki's masterpiece is "Princess Mononoke" and a little behind it stands spirited away. Anywayz both are really the "peak" of animes and anyone who hasn't seen them should see them as fast as he/she can. It's really a waste.

PS1 : Don't spend time seeing the english dub versions of Miyazaki's movies. It's like you miss half of the movie's atmosphere and realistic view of things, when u do that.

PS2 : Looking forward to see the rest of his movies soon ^^
