Worst Nixon Movie Ever

I guess Ollie Stone loved to hit Nixon in the teeth with this one. He says he even voted for him to end the war which Nixon did.

This movie paints a picture of a torn man who doesn't accept losing to the public and will do anything to have an edge but also shows him as a loser and a deadbeat. This was not Nixon at least in his first term. He really wanted to make a difference and though all politicians come to love power and the double edge sword it wields, Nixon was torn.

I'd like to see Ollie make a move about Bill Clinton or the current POTUS. I'd bet he'd laud them more than criticize.

Nixon may very well have been the last president of his kind but he really did want to make a difference early on. It was only after he tried to fight for public support and more power that he fell into his own undoing.

Nixon just doesn't cut it as a movie. i would have preferred seeing more of his accomplishments but then Ollie would look like he actually liked the man.
