little piece of trivia; when Christopher Reeve had his horse riding accident (I think it was the year after this film), he initially wanted to die. I'm sure you could imagine the reaction he was getting from friends and family first seeing him upon knowing he'd never move below the neck again. Well when Robin Williams came in the room, he was acting like a crazy russian doctor much like he did in this film. Reeve said that's when he realized everything would be okay.

yep , by a country mile.
Luckily its at the start too , so you can switch off when his bits over.
I wasnt so lucky , as i was in the cinema. Had to watch the whole thing , wishing i was next door watching Waterworld :)
