This Film Is On Netflix

I couldn't believe it. I have been a fan of this film for years. I used to rent the vhs at Blockbuster and keep it for months. I now own the vhs. A month or two ago, I was searching the instant streaming videos on my ps3 for netflix, and discovered this gem had surfaced. You don't know how exicited I was. After finding it on Netflix, I've been searching for the dvd, but to no avail. For those of you unable to find the dvd or vhs, use netflix for a quick fix.

Watching it now on Netflix. Loved this movie when I was in high school. Probably rented it about 10 times from Blockbuster back then.

And it is a surprisingly good film, with some excellent performances. It's SO well developed up front that the high-velocity action and gore that follows is even more horrifying! Loved it, a good time... gave it an "8"!

I don't know how I missed this film in the 90s. I watched it on NF last night and LOVED it!! Great atmosphere. Does anyone have any other suggestions of more films like this?

Oh, you're so COOL, Brewster!

I first saw this movie when I was a little kid and going through my "I only watch horror movies and nothing else will do" phase. My mother was quite concerned about her sweet little girl when I brought this one home. Wasn't this the first of a series? Or maybe I just watched a lot of scarecrow horror movies, but she was always so disgusted by all the sex in them, and I was like "really? you don't expect that by now?"
I was stoked to find it on Netflix as well. I remember some scenes so vividly, but I had no idea how cheesy and terrible the acting was when I watched it back then... Still fun to watch, if only for the Scarecrow himself.
