Nick of Time on TV

Can someone answer this question for me. I recently saw Nick of Time on the USA channel and it had an extra scene at the end of it that wasn't on the DVD that I saw. It was a scene of Johnny and Moses (I think was his name) sitting together with the little girl and the governor comes over and tells him she's sorry she didn't believe him and he thanks Moses and the little girl kisses him. It was such a nice ending and made the movie seem so much more complete than the abrupt way it ended on the DVD. Anyone know WHY this scene was not on the DVD??
