Please answer this for me

What was Jason's beef with midget about towards the end. Their relationship took a turn for the worst after midget got beat by the cops for not pouring out the beer and calling the female cop a bitch. Was he mad because Jason left him? After that scene he just started tripping and being careless as if he was trying to set Jason up. Then after Jason got out of jail, it seemed like they were distant. Then Jason finally exploded after that girl got her car jacked and midget was trying to provoke Jason to get revenge. So was midget angry at Jason all that time? Was he trying to set him up to get hurt or in trouble?

He was a crap/crab friend, using him or so it felt like that. I've had way too any friends like that so I can relate

"Got some crab friends man" lol I loved that line, always have.

It was because he left Jason in a bad situation when he carjacked the dude at the store and jason got arrested for it and had to do time.

In one of the deleted scenes on the DVD, Midget basically called Jason out for having left him to fend for himself against the cops. I'm guessing the scene was meant to be shown BEFORE Midget left Jason in the parking lot, and it would've explained why his demeanor toward Jason seemed off-putting. But I guess it was deleted to change the dynamic, and depict him (rather than Jason) as having been the villain.

I just made a post basically asking the same thing. Thanks Oldiesgyrl. I figured that he was mad about the cops jumping him. IDK why they would delete that scene. What did Midget expect Jason to do, stop and go back to get his ass beat too?

No problem. 

I guess in Midget's eyes, Jason was obligated to stick with him regardless even if it meant that he also had to endure it. As in having expected him to be that 'Ride or Die' friend. On the other hand, I doubt Jason was anticipating receiving yet another beating other than the three (if I'm remembering correctly) which he had already received from Roscoe alone.
