How did this movie not...

...end Sandra Bullocks's career? Yikes...what a terrible, awful movie.

It was on today, and I started watching for the heck of it...then I couldn't stop watching and making fun of it.

Wow...this is as bad as it gets.

It probably seemed a lot more believable when it came out! It was 21 years ago.

I think you mean to type the words and punctuation mark: Speed 2: Cruise Control (1997)

Anyway, The Net wasn't that bad!

It's certainly nowhere near as atrocious as Spice Girls: The Movie.

reply

I don't think I ever saw that one.

To be fair, it may not have been as bad 21 years ago. But it's terribly dated.

Then again, I was entertained--for all the wrong reasons.

Trust me. You don't wanna! It's like a snuff flick, only less fun. And worse acting.

reply

Guess I'm guilty because I actually liked this movie when it first came out and still enjoy it for what it is, a fun escapist thriller.

Speed 2: Cruise Control was a heck of a lot worse. I remember seeing that in the theater and couldn't wait for it to end.

The Net was much more intriguing. Considering how new the internet was, there was a good fear factor involved since most of us were not into that reality yet.
