His character was so bloody annoying. It was like she was talking to a brick wall when she was trying explain her ordeal to him. For someone who was supposed to be in tune with people's feelings, he wasn't very good at sensing her tone, the smarmy, patronising, bearded buffoon.

No respectable psychiatrist would EVER dare begin a sexual relationship with a patient, especially one as vulnerable as Bennett's character. Jeez.
