title of the last song?

Hi all
Would somebody know the title and the singer of the last song (sang by a tenor) It sounds like an American folk song and it is really moving. It help me to go through the lengthy part of this otherwise beautiful film.
Gabriel

I believe it was "Hard Times, Come Again No More" by Stephen Foster. Although I think the book was superior to the movie, the musical choices appropriately conveyed the "feel" of the story.

I recently watched The Neon Bible for the first time. I believe the right-on-target selections of music contributed to the melancholy feeling of the story. Unlike some who have commented on this message board, I liked the film. For anyone interested in the song Hard Times Come Again No More, I definately recommend listening to the haunting version performed by THE ISAACS (Lily, the mom and her three children - Sonya, Becky and Ben). They are the ultimate gospel/bluegrass group with unbelievable harmonies. Hard Times may be my favorite of the 16 tracks on their latest cd entitled THE ISAACS...NATURALLY. The almost a capella collection is brought to a heartbreaking close with the song It Is Well With My Soul. I recommend the movie and I recommend THE ISAACS.
