Actual Ending

I got this on VHS a while back, and I remembered one glaring omission which really irked me. They cut off the ending. It may have not been extremely important to the plot, but it did cap the movie off right. Has anyone seen the ending where Kevin McDonald makes a reappearance with his little starter pistol during graduation? He is still determined to kill the leader, but the President's Secret Service guys beat the crap out of him. Then Dags and Reg pick up the gun and start fighting over it. The screen goes blank, but you hear the gun go off and everyone makes a commotion about the president being shot.

I saw Senior Trip on cable a while back (can't remember what channel) and it had that ending. I thought it was pretty cool. I actually liked that ending better than the one on the video.

I never saw that ending. It was on late last night about 2:00 in the morning, on free to air TV, Australia. I never saw that ending. The ending I saw was where it just explains what happen to each student with a couple of lines. That Travis guy was a gun and is a way better ending because I was wondering what happen to him after he got smashed while on top of the bus. He was the funniest and best character in the movie. I loved it when he was at home I think and he had all the Star Trek character cut outs. That was so funny!

I love this movie! I remember that ending when I saw it on tv, I also have the vhs but sadly the ending is cut :(

Crap. I saw this on TV some time back (on Starz or something) and they didn't have that ending.

I've always loved this movie but thought the ending sucked dick!!
I'd love to the see the other ending.
Why isn't it on the dvd?

so the expanded ending isn't on the dvd? that blows! the tv version has a whole bunch of extended, alternate, and cut scenes that are not in the vhs release. they did the same thing with Ernest Goes to Jail. when it's shown on TV there's a whole bunch of extra scenes that are not on the video release!!

the extended version is so much better! there's a scene where the narc guy tries to be cool and hang with the cool kids by sneaking in beer but it turns out it's like odouls or some other non-alcholic beer.

this movie is totally underrated; it's actually one of my favorites!

I got this on one disc with Loaded Weapon 1 and it so totally doesn't have this ending. That would have been awesome.

I watched it at the movie theater and have the VHS copy that I bought at Walmart and I do not remember seeing that at the end of the movie or the credits either. This is a very hilarious comedy to watch and one of my favorite movies to watch as well!

That is why I feel they should come out with a special edition DVD copy of this movie and have scenes that were edited out with possibly the main characters talking about the movie and what they thought when they were making this film. I think the best results is to have the actors come in without watching the movie and just saying what they think when they see it in front of them. I think it would make the commentary very interesting you know. What do you guys think?
