Why the hell can't this be nominated and preserved in the NFR?

The NFR stands for the National Film Registry. Every time I nominate films for the National Film Registry I always include this movie on my list of nominated films for inclusion. Even though it is an Australian film, it HAS been released in America so it should at least be nominated. This is one of the best foreign films I have seen and it should be preserved for future generations. I sent an e-mail to the Librarian of Congress saying that the Registry seriously needs more foreign films preserved because many foreign films are just as popular in America as they are from their respective countries(The Pokemon movies for one, and Pan's Labyrinth who is actually from Spain and Mexico, and House of Flying Daggers which is from China)

Any else think that this movie should be nominated and preserved for all generations to enjoy?

FYI: The only foreign film preserved in the National Film Registry was a film from Italy which I cannot remember the title.
