This is a very very amazing movie.

Strong cast and strong story. Anyone who's seen this movie, needs no reminders of the great positives.

Now I came on here thinking easy 7.5 or much higher, so it got a 7.3. That's not a bad score buttttttttt it's much better than movies rated higher.

There are ok, good and great movies. This is great...you get the point, if you haven't seen it, what's the hold up ?

Oh BTW I'm not Latin...I know tons of latinas and I'll school them on this if they like ignorant movies like "Blood In Blood Out".

Hahahahaha blood in and blood out, I freakin hated that movie. But you are right about how Mi Familia should have been rated higher.

Any one who is Latino (as am I) can see all the similarities from the movie family and our own families. Grandparents came to the U.S. My parents born here. Large families, youngest always a surprise. One in prison, one who wants to be white, one pachuco, one in the military, but no nuns. At least not in my family. But any Mexican family can watch this movie and laugh because it's like watching a movie about their life.
