Real, Accurate Portrayal of Alcatraz (Not what it looks like)
If this movie sheds no truth whatsoever, then what are good movies that deal with real stuff that happens with Alcatraz? Anybody?
shareBecause if you want to use Alcatraz as a backdrop for a film you only have to include a shred of truth. As an example , the movie "THE ROCK" there is a scen when Connery turns to Cage and says "Alcatraz used to be a military fort".
In order to obtain a permit to film on Alcatraz you have to include a factual statement.
In the case of MITF it could be anything, such as the date that Henri Young served time on the island.
But the rest of the movie is bunch of liberal crap that plays on the sympathy of the audience, about so called "Criminal rights".
The movie is entertaining but as far as being factual, its a piece of sh*t.
