Great performances, especially Bacon's

This was Kevin Bacon's best performance and the fact that he wasn't nominated tells me Oscar is fixed or politically orientated. Too bad he hasn't done anything comparable in years, as well as Christian Slater, who was also wonderful.

I have to take some slight exception to the line about him not doing anything comparable since Murder in the First.... right after that came out he was amazing in Apollo 13 and his performance was right on par with an equally amazing Tom Hanks. Then he was simply brilliant along with the rest of the cast of Sleepers. Stir of Echos wasn't the best movie, but Bacon and Irbe's performances were damn good, and even though his role wasn't the biggest, he was excellent in Mystic River.

Also the woodsman should have gotten a nomination. Bacon played that role to perfection.

Indeed everyone did a great job.

Yes, absolutely stunning acting from everyone - Bacon, Slater and Oldman (although the latter didn't have much screentime).

🐺 Boycott movies that involve real animal violence (& their directors) 🐾
