Goro is hilariously bad in this

I've always laughed hysterically at how terrible goro's animatronic movements and sound effects/edits are. So exaggerated and ridiculous but I will say the creature design and look was well executed for 95. This is one of those films that is so bad yet so good in guilty pleasure. It has some great fight scenes and visuals that adapt well form the game, but the acting and some cgi moments are just incredibly awful. Is it in my blu Ray collection? Damn right but only because it was 4 dollars.

Agreed. Just watched it for the first time in about 15 years and Goro was especially embarrassing.

So what's the problem.

At the time Goro costs over $1 million. One frickin' million dollars!

Goro is more impressive in the making of video. My problem with him is that he moved slow and had weird facial movements. I just wanted an evil monster. They made him like a cartoon character.

reply

Goro is a ridiculous character anyway.

reply

It’s true. His facial expressions, voice, movements, and ponytail made him appear more like a comedy character. Goro was a weak spot in this film.

reply

You're kidding right? I think Goro looks pretty good for 1995. Better than the atrocious CGI they used for Reptile.
