exactly where, in italy was this movie filmed? landscape is absolutely breathtaking!:)

Lake Como. The top Italian location I want to visit. I think the setting was the real star of this film.

The last scene, specifically, was shot in Argegno which, except for the appeal of its popular funivia (cable car), is one of the lesser frequented of the major towns in Lake Como.

There is no "Swiss side" of Lake Como.

Do you have this mixed up with Lake Lugano, perhaps?
