Someone said in one of the posts that he/she doesn't know if Fox is a good actor. He played in The Day of the Jackal, which is an excellent film : )
I agree with you. I am a big fan of Edward Fox, starting with The Day of the Jackal.

Considering that Edward Fox, a member of a family justly famed for its many fine actors and film artists, has long been recognized as one of Britain's great actors (and in Britain, that is saying something), it's weird to hear his acting discussed as if he were some unknown bit player who had made good in a film or two.
