Actually, not that bad...

McCormack was great, as well as the writing. I have the books Mommy and Mommy's Day by Max Allan Collins and they are still a few of my current faves! Anyone else see this great film (or read the book)? Trust me, this film is a rare find.

Are the titles of the book the same as the movie? I couldn't find it on Amazon.com. If you know the original title, please let me know!

thanks!

The book is called "Mommy". Go to amazon and search books for Max Allan Collins and it will be in the results.

Yeah, They are the same title, I worked at Barnes & Noble in 1995-1997 and We couldn't keep these books on the shelf. I'm sure it had more to do with the author Max Allan Collins being a well-known writer.

You're kidding right? The acting was terrible, the pacing dreadfully slow, and lighting in places was so bad that as to be unwatchable. Pretty dreadful.
