Did anyone see this movie in theaters?

I did I remember when my dad took me and my sister and brother to see this movie we was 10 minutes late so we weren't able to get any seats. The theater was so packed we had to stand in the back for a little bit and then I think we found some seats to sit down. The movie wasn't so bad I was 12 or 13 at the time.

I saw this in theaters for a friend's birthday party. I remember thinking it was pretty lame, but that's because I was starting to outgrow my obsession with the Power Rangers. I really do think the show jumped the shark around this time though. I always thought the white ranger was really lame. I didn't like the 3 replacements either. The original 5 was the best.

Dude, you're not alone. I was a die hard power ranger fan from the time the show made its debut back in 1993, by the time I moved to Dallas, TX which was March of 1995, the switching of the original 3 had already came into play and that slowly started to cause me to lose interest as more hype for the movie was building.

After the movie came out, season 3 began its run and this was where I began losing more interest because every epsiode was nearly the exact same thing and by then the original pink ranger had left, I was officially done with the show.

I also wondered why didnt the producers use the costumes from the movies? Oh well!

reply

The costumes from the movie probably were not used again because they seem HIGHLY uncomfortable, not very flexible do they??? From what I've read they would tear easily...

i remember when i saw this and turbo in the theaters. i was a die hard power ranger fan. had the dolls, have the watch, the pajamas, used to come home from school everyday and my mom was amazing and would record the episodes for me. even saw them LIVE. wasnt really them but it was great hahah

reply

LOL, I remember when we lived in Jersey, they came to MSG and I BEGGED by mother to go see them live but we couldnt.

I appreciated ZEO because it offered some originality within the context of the show, I was like finally, something different. If anything, instead of introducing TURBO as the sequel/start of a Sentai, Saban and Co. should've went with ZEO, I loved the costumes and ZORDS. They absolutely rocked!

Yeah I saw it in theaters. My Dad took my brother and me on a weekday afternoon, probably weeks after it had come out, because the theater was empty. I just watched it on Netflix recently for the first time since I saw it in theaters and realized I had forgotten about 80% of the movie.

I did, a few weeks had passed after it was first released I think, what I do remember was me, my dad and my bro went. I was the only one who liked it at the time (my dad has since said otherwise lol), oh and I confused a user by talking about Casper having seen it on a similar outing a few weeks earlier. I can't remember how busy it was but I know the experience of seeing some of my fav characters the way I was used to but yet up on the big screen was awesome.
