Did Ivan Ooze kinda remind you of a PG Freddy Krueger?
Something about him reminded me of him, can't really pinpoint it.
shareSomething about him reminded me of him, can't really pinpoint it.
shareI didn't see it before now but I can see a certain resemblance. I think it's something in his eyes and facial expressions.
shareComedic presence too, and also the line "Welcome to my nightmare".
shareNow that you do mention that, he does remind me of a PG Freddy Krueger because when I saw the movie I was thinking he reminds me of a certain horror icon, but I wasn't sure untill after it was mentioned here.

In all Honestly, Ivan Ooze's appearence reminds me of a possible prototype of King Zarkon from Voltron -- all we need is a live action movie along with state of the art's special/visual effects and out the frying pan is a close rendition of King Zarkon, ruler of the Garla Empire.
As a matter of fact, Freddy Krueger himself, Robert Englund would be a fantastic choice for the role.
We simply need a live action Voltron film to raise the bar in terms of story and adventure.
Well the way he talks he almost reminds me of WC Fields. Especially when he was giving out free Ooze to the kids. And maybe a little bit of Christopher Lloyd.
shareNever thought of that before, but I can see what you mean.
Eclipse - 7/10
The Roommate - 6/10
OT
Definitely.
With all the puns.
The teenager cracks...it's like they were watching Nightmare and said how can we get that guy for kids.
I can actually see it now.

Could have been awesome in a film:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGGrbOZrFqw
Green Lantern: Joe aka Drifter.
In Brightest Day, in Blackest Night.......
I was thinking he looked more like the Djinn from Wishmaster.
"I'm not saying that kiss was hot, but if the boner police are here, I'm gonna need a lawyer"
A PG Freddy Krueger would have been much more interesting.
A story where he got into the Power Rangers' worst nightmares, could have been an interesting story.
Yep, I've always thought this since the day I saw this at the cinemas as a Kid.
The resemblance, the things he say's, everything about him reminds Me of Freddy so much.
Oh, herro prease.
"Smells like...TEEEEEENNAAAAAGGGERRRRRSSSSSS..." might be it.
Make IMDb a better place, ignore The_Sound_of_Glaciers_Moving.
