joke question

I usually hate when people ask a joke to be explained but I do have a question about one in this film.

When the greek chorus is contemplating on the idea of them adopting the baby, oedipus' mother says something like "I hate to tell you what they call my son in Harlem." I always assumed the punch line is they called him "a mother *beep* er", but i'm not positive. Anyone know if thats it?

Bingo.

I love it when something like that is literally true! Gives it a real twist!

No comment but don't quote me!

That is exactly what it is. That joke is also used in History of the World Part 1, where we see Oedipus.
