worthy of 3.4? i think not

I just finished watching this and damn i was surprised it was quite good. Ted Levine was great as always and Robert Englund was also great. I know I know, how can someone really take a movie about a machine controlled by a demon seriously? but in this case it worked. I really like the characters especially the brother in-law and the photographer. I don't understand how this could be hated so much. The ending by itself should warrant a higher rating because it was so heartbreaking to see that no matter what Levine did he couldn't stop the demon and it's affect on the town. I really believe this film deserves a higher rating, I mean it's no Halloween but come on it's well worth more than 3 point friggin' 4

i always loved this film. Levine and Englund play off each other so well and its got a great plot and the acting is top notch. its another underrated and underappreciated classic of the 90's.

3.4 is maybe a little harsh. I gave it a 5.

It is not even a 4 yet. The Mangler is waaay too hated. Many worse flicks around.

🐺 Boycott movies that involve real animal violence (& their directors) 🐾

I would give it a 7. I'll take this over 90 percent of the horror movies made in the past 15 years

It's not that bad.

How much better could the film have been given the concept of a possesed laundry machine? The sky is not the limit. Conceptually many will find it silly, there is no escaping that. Taking the subject matter more seriously wouldn't be advisable. At least this film had some fun with it.
