This 'Man of the House' Better

This is one of my favorite 90s live action Disney films.
I can't believe that somebody ripped off the title, so now we have to call this one
Man of the House '95.

I'm with you. I don't know why they had to use the same title. I saw the movie the one out now, with Tommy Lee Jones. They use the same song in both films. In the 1st movie, when they are doing the rain dance; that song. In the 2nd one, they use it for contest against the cheerleaders and Cedric the Entertainer. I hated this movie (the 2nd one). I mad that they had to use the title and the same song.

That is so funny!! I am currently watching the newer Man of the House and when they played that song I was like oh! they ripped off both the title AND the song?!? The only reason I stopped on this movie was because I was curious how it was. Whenever I go to video stores I always look to see if they have Man of the House (95) and last time they only had the new one and i was SO mad...

Ok thats enough rambling...

That'll do pig. That'll do.

the 2005 Man of the House is a completely different storyline than the one that was made in 1995 and hollywood has been repeating movie titles for like 50 years now there is only so many titles you can come up with and as far as the song that song has been in tons of movies the creator of 1995 Man of the house do not own the rights to the song so anybody who wants to can use that song in a movie and there is no rule thats says the same title cannot be used more than once and if you notice if you type in certain titles or names into the search on this website it comes up with multipe things with the same names so I really dont understand what everyones complaining about

yeah i can't believe that either. chevy chase should complain to them. maybe he can still complain. like they say it's never too late to do it.

I know! This is the best movie ever! That cheerleading movie doesn't even compare!

reply

my point exactly. they should never use plagiarism on a title.

Hello. I agree. And even better, the movie is now on Youtube!!!

Yeah I noticed that too - they used not only the same title but the same song!

But, I did enjoy both movies.

I am a Tommy Lee Jones fan and a Chevy Chase fan - so maybe that helps. Both movies were good - just different.

I thought this was the better out of the two, it may be a kids film but it's still quite good and has an interesting story- which is more than I can say about Tommy Lee Jones' movie.
