Ya' know I was wondering, Jack had a nice little naval sabre in his room (You can see It at the opening credits), but He kept his lighter under his pillow!
WHY?! WHAT THE *HELL* FOR?!
Come on! If Jack can have a sabre,a WEAPON, than why does he need to hide a simple lighter from his parents?

I have NO idea. Doesn't make sense and it wasn't suppose to.

Maybe his family was okay with him having a decorative sabre, but not okay with a lighter since it may lead them to believe he smokes?

Oh, and I often find myself confused by the ends of posts until I realize I'm reading a signature.
