Cassie Osborne is a Dummy

I hated the character of Cassie Osborne so much, it was hard to feel any sympathy for her when things started going bad. By 20 minutes into the movie, I was so annoyed by her stupidity, I was about to turn the channel. But I usually enjoy watching Angie Dickinson movies, so I stuck with it.

Some irritating things:
- Throwing a tantrum because her husband has to work and keep his job. What is she, like 8 years old? Real smooth move, taking off in an old car you don't know how to fix without telling anyone where you are and where you are going. With a small child no less.

- Letting people she doesn't know fool around her car without her permission. Lo and behold, the car ends up breaking down away from civilization.

- Under-reacting when some weird guy tries to break her phone and basically acting like she's in a daze when strange stuff happens to she and her daughter. That is, until she's locked in a room, then Cassie rages and cries impotently.

The sister seems to be as big of an idiot. Guess non-common sense and emotional inappropriate behavior run in the family.
