The parents

I just watched this movie the other day and thought about something, maybe its not Drew's character or Chris's character that needs help, I'm thinking it all starts with the terrible parents. I hated Chris's dad all throughout the movie. He just put SO much pressure on him to be perfect and always do the right thing and never cared about him in anything. He never trusted him at all, especially when he wanted to be happy and fall in love. Because he himself didn't have any love in his life and he was so jealous it was so obvious. Chris's character was basically like a mother to the twins all his life and it was all his dad's fault for not providing them with a real mother. As Drew's character said in the beginning of the film, "she didn't love him, it wasn't that she didn't love the kids." She was sort of right about that.

With Drew's character, her dad gave me the creeps, you could totally tell what Casey has was heradity and they obviously didn't ever show her any love or compassion. I really wish people would STOP focusing on how children are so much at fault with everything. What about where it starts at home? The parents? Don't most of them deserve the blame in a lot of the problems that come up in teenagers lives? I believe they do and its not talked about at all.
