I have watched Rainbow Song, a movie Iwai wrote and produced. I can tell that Rainbow Song is literally remake of Love Letter, with similar premise and overall final execution. Although the characterization and how it set is totally different, it is still having the same spirit with Love Letter.

film has not held my interest like most Iwai's Films,but since this is one of his film I'm going to give it a chance. Definitely

It lacks of Iwai's quirk touch and dreamy atmosphere. Also if you have watched Love Letter, the ending probably would give you sense of dejavu. But definitely worth to watch :)
