selfish. They don't care who they hurt as long as they get their fix. This woman left him in a garbage can so she could go and get her fix. Getting that high was more important to her then Isaiah's safety. And then you have that ridiculous arguement of "he's black so he should go with his black mother" used by her lawyer (don't get me started on that. PLEASE).
Money isn't the root of all evil. Love of money is.
So glad at the end when she had to realize that the woman who had saved Isaiah and cared for him was the one he should be with. She knew she had lost her baby when she threw him in the trash-she should have just let it go at that when she found out he had a real home. This is why people are so hesitant to adopt-it's never in the best interest of the child when the rights of the biological parents take precedence.
