An emotional and brilliant movie {spoilers}

SPOILERS.

Apparently Jessica Lange did not like this movie. But regardless it's still a great flick and the actors clearly gave their all in their performances.

Where the characters went wrong with the child was ripping him away from the only people and home that he's ever known, what they should have done was introduce him to his biological mother bit by bit, they simply should have had him stay with her at the weekends and then extend it to two weeks e.c.t, he could simply have 2 mothers, he emotionally connected to the white family, so he could have continued living with them and seeing his real mum on a regular basis, it didn't work in Halle Berry's character's favour getting custody the way that she did, at the same time she never signed away her parental rights, but she had the power to let him stay with the Caucasian family and get her visitation and she did that in the end anyway.

This is a very emotional film, and people no doubt will have all different opinions on it and on topics like this.
