Silly lines

I just watched this on tv and giggled myself silly over the line about how the snow was 5 ft and their 4'11 uncle wasn't seen until march.

I have Irish family and some of them are that short or shorter... heck, I'm only 5 foot myself. So I can imagine that almost being true! LoL

he wasn't seen... *except for his hat* pmsl brilliant line, everytime I watch this I swear I hear something else to amuse me... like I am watching it now, and Adrian just said something like 'The Danes are here too... they're building a giant cage... they plan to lure Nessie in with 6 tons of breadcrumbs'!!!! Hahahaha it amused me greatly.

I also love the line also said by the mad dude in the bar about his grandad or someone having one ear bigger than the other and the wind corkscrewing him into the ground!!!! XD

The film's not set in Ireland. It's set in Scotland. That's where Loch Ness is! Or are you just randomly pointing out that you have Irish family members.... hmmmm that's a little pointless.

Nothing was actually said but I found the scene when the lovely demure Joely Richardson slapped Ted Danson's evening meal in front of him.

A huge haggis with gigantic portions of mashed potato and swede.

To his credit, Ted hardly batted an eyelid.

An understated scene if ever there was one which I found very funny.

Don't know what that trope was all about. Just glimpsed this on TV and the running joke that Scots are short seems to be plucked outta no where. I'm 6', my family range from 5'10 - 6'4. But then we all have giant ginger sideburns aswell don't we....
