(meaning: if you live in Ontario, I guess), "Little Criminals" is available through Rogers on Demand / CBC On Demand. You have to hunt for it a bit, but it's definitely there. After YEARS of searching for this movie, I was thrilled beyond words to find it available (legally) on television again.

Brendan Fletcher was heartbreakingly *GREAT* in this movie. As much as you wanted to shake some empathy into Des, you also wanted to hug him and take him home and love him. The scene where he goes back into the house to get Corey's sister's monkey is one of the best scenes in the whole movie.

And the final scene (which I will not describe here)? Probably one of the most sad and horrifying movie endings I have ever, ever seen :-/

I totall agree. I cried uncontrollably at the end of the movie. Des was desparate and there was no one/ nowhere to turn to.
