There had been some talks about 7th Leprechaun movie, if greenlight it will be release some time in 2008/2009

This is actually true, although I can't vouch for the release date. For more information see http://www.lepconnie.com/lep7.html I want to emphasize that NOTHING HAS BEEN APPROVED and the movie might not be made.

Sometime after Lep 6 came out there were rumors of a seventh film called "Leprechaun: Pimpin' in da Hood". I enjoyed Lep 6 and sort of enjoyed Lep 5. Personally, I like the idea of a Hood trilogy. But I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

"Pimpin' in the Hood" was a hoax created by some guy on a message board. He confessed to it. Most Lep fans don't want another hood movie and would rather see something else, so it'll be better for the series if they don't go there again. Or at least do a few movies in other places before they go back.

The "Leprechaun in the White House" idea sounds pretty good.

Yeah, that would be fun although if they did it now they'd have to base it on the Bush presidency instead of the Clinton one. We'd lose the 'zipper problem' portion of the story line but there's still plenty of opportunity for fun.

I freakin hope that if Leprechaun 7 does get made, that's it's not in the Hood. That last 2 movies sucked.

Director Darren Lynn Bousman is currently trying to talk Lions Gate into Lep 7. If he gets his way, the movie will be set in the Old West during the gold rush.

Could be good. I hated the "hood" films. I'd like to see part 7 done more in the vain of the first movie.

The first movie is my least favorite. I'd rather see it done more in the vein of #3. Intentional silliness to the max.

We can't say for sure that there will NEVER be a Lep 7. But there aren't any active plans for it right now.
