he was like a monster or some *beep* i never seen someone act like that? WHY did they do it? like is he austistic or some *beep*

he somehow couldn't handle the situation that had been created for him, and reacted in a violent manner. It wasn't clear if this was temporary or more permanent mental attribute.

if it was real life of course they are just actors and didnt really hurt her just they show an autistic person or mentally disable person with normal bully kids. Usually the bullies would beat up on the disable person. Scene is stupid and unnatural.

IMO, he was portrayed as autistic or at least severe Asperger's.

Yeah, that scene stood out. I couldn’t get it out of my mind for a long time. That muscle bastard was mentally unstable.

At the very least, he was on the spectrum.

And, yes, the three college students ganging up on Sera made me feel uneasy. I'd rather watch Ben die of organ failure repeatedly than have to sit through her being raped by multiple people (I'm including what Yuri did to Sera on a few occasions).

Amen. I think Shue is a pretty damned good actress, one of the few who can play “smart” convincingly, and her vulnerability in this movie infuriated me at her abuse. Rape is about power, not about sex.
