The ending gives me chills.

The end credits song playing in that "echoey-like" sound after everything we've just seen just gives me chills, makes me think about how 1995 was 21 years ago and the actor who played Casper himself died only 6 years later. I don't know why, but it almost gives me this feeling of emptiness. Even his last line, "Jesus Christ, what happened?" is almost like it is directed toward America as a whole. What happened to this country? Where are we going?

The ending is incredible for this incredible film. Sadly not only did the actor who played Casper take his own life, the actor who played Harold died of a drug overdose.

The end when Casper breaks the fourth wall is one of my favorite endings to a movie. The song at the end is also very effective and depressing. Fitting for this movie that is one of the harshest coming of age stories out there.

Made me mad... Jenny never told Telly off and we don't know if Casper found out her HIV status.

And THAT'S why it's so powerful. Everybody loses.

The song at the end gave me chills 9 years ago when i first watched it too. I was 15 at the time, and it's probably one of the most memorable things I remember about the film. It made me feel empty inside.

It really does. It's almost as if Korine and Clark (He deserves his credit) were basically showing us that this life will go on. All of those extra scenes are real, not staged... And the music adds so much.
