How, for so many years, has this no talent piece of *beep* continued to get work, knowing that he will make something so tasteless and so deplorable? He writes about nothing but *beep* for a living and yet he gets rewarded for it. That scares me.

sharethis film does not define "the youth of an era" however it does define a small percentage(probably 1% much like bikers) of "youth of an era"... For those of us who have lived it we know it and recognize it like the back of our hands..for the other 99% that conformed and stayed within the boundaries of society they will never understand that what Korine and Clark managed to capture in this film...
shareI wouldn't say 1% though. Kids from across the Country could relate to the sense of Hopelessness the Nihilistic Attitude that Korine and Clark showed in this film. Whether it's Poor Kids in Big Cities, Rural Areas or even the smaller, yet impoverished Cities of 100,000 plus. It definitely was a larger group than you'd realize.

shareTry coming here then. You could totally relate. The US is a cesspool and this movie is very accurate about what it is like here. Just be happy you live in Norway. I have a friend from Norway and he came here to study and he was shocked at how the US really is.
