I remember being incredibly annoyed that he won the girl over with a burger. Or why on earth everyone in different times who meet with any sort of time traveller/are projected into the future seem to think hamburgers are delicious!!

He won her over by being brave and unique. The bike roller skates hamburger were all things that she loved about him.
